We are looking for a Design Director – someone with a curious mind, a deep understanding of what great work entails and a passion for what the future of brand and content holds. Armed with senior-level experience (10+ years) at some outstanding brand and/or content agencies (digital is a given), this client-facing creative leader will inspire colleagues and clients, offer strategic and creative direction and be at ease talking about brands and content with people of all levels.
The role demands a natural enthusiasm for storytelling and a proven understanding of how things can be done in an integrated way. An exceptional portfolio of projects with some blue-chip brands is a must, along with proven, senior level experience leading pitches and a body of work that’s won both new business and awards.
On top of formidable design credentials, this creative leader will be responsible for co-managing and inspiring a small team. You’ll oversee output including brand identities, communications and integrated content programmes.
Main activities and responsibilities:
Co-lead, manage and develop a first class creative team.
Help implement our vision and drive the quality of our work.
Originate strong creative ideas time and time again.
Creative direction across all platforms.
Partner with colleagues to lead, excite, steward and grow client accounts with bold, never-been-seen-before ideas.
Take a leadership role in pitches.
Required skills and experience:
Expert at a broad range of creative disciplines.
Outstanding portfolio of original and breakthrough work, along with proven experience.
A real craftsperson as well as an ideas person; an Art Director who knows all the design tools and is aware of current design trends and is on top of what makes good design in all channels.
An educated ‘student of brand’, coupled with a deep aversion to the obvious.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
Self-driven with a fearless interest and curiosity in where the brand is heading.Apply now
