Thompson Brand Partners acquires digital agency, What Creative

As we celebrate our 30th year in business, we’re excited to announce that we have acquired Leeds-based digital agency, What Creative, founded by respected digital designers, Chris Kemm and Chris Skelton. The combined team will trade as Thompson Brand Partners, and be based in the existing Thompson studios in North Leeds, and marks a landmark moment in our history.

  • What Creative has been trading for 5 years and its clients include ERS Medical, OTE Sports and various UK creative agencies including Mediacom and Beattie Communications.

    The acquisition results in a 25% increase in our capacity and an enhanced service offer, including responsive web design, content creation, email marketing and mobile app development. It also positions us as a new breed of digital branding agency, meeting the needs of our clients by putting digital at the heart of branding.

    Our teams have already worked together on a number of successful fully responsive web projects, for clients including Leeds Building Society and global oil and gas engineer, Penspen. These successful projects helped us to see the huge potential of combining forces.

  • Ian Thompson, founder and Creative Director of Thompson Brand Partners, knows he has got the right team: “We knew the moment we met the guys that we could work well together.
